Innovation of load test stand for electric drives
Martinek, Jan ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The theses presented proposes an innovation of load test stand for electric drives. It begins with a general overview of load test stand types, their manufacturers and measurement methods in load and no-load situations. Next part analyses current circuit diagram of the load test stand and its risks. This is followed by a proposal for innovation of the circuit diagram which is divided into electrical and control part using current load test stand and its mechanical parts. A wiring diagram is created, the control part is processed by the Logosoft program. The design is evaluated from the safety point of view and modified to meet applicable technical standards.
Assemblage and testing of the device for water ozonizing and its application for silicon wafer cleaning
Ředina, Dalibor ; Mikulík, Petr (referee) ; Voborný, Stanislav (advisor)
Deionised-ozonated water, so-called DIO3 appears to be an ideal alternative for usage in semiconductor industry. The utilisation of DIO3 for removal of photoresist from silicon wafers is faster, cheaper, and more environmental-friendly compared to classical technology based on mixture of sulphuric acid with hydrogen peroxide, so-called SPM. The diploma thesis deals firstly with research into ozone and ozonated water and their possible applications. Next sections describe two prototypes of generators for DIO3, that were assembled in CSVG a.s. Testing of parameters for generators on dissolved-ozone concentration is also a part of this thesis. Moreover, thesis involves tests, that were carrier out in ON Semiconductor in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. These tests compare efficiency of cleaning by classical technology based on SPM and DIO3 approach.
Development of DC arc quenching chamber
Černohorský, Petr ; Valenta, Jiří (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
Seminar thesis focuses on the issues about quenching the electric direct arc by the quanching system. Teoretical part deals with action about quanching the direct arc and with another actions which happens in direc discharge. There is described proposal and construction of the insulating quenching system. Than chamber was testing in high voltage laboratory and the results from testing was evaluated.
Switching arc diagnostics in DC contactor
Control of Low Voltage Contactor by calculation and measurement
Veselý, Matěj ; Šimek, David (referee) ; Bušov, Bohuslav (advisor)
The bachelor project deals with controlling mean parametres of low voltage contactor by calculation and measurement. Deals more specifically with calculation of the applied electrodynamic forces on the contactor's movable contact, the determination of the minimum compressive force on the contactor's movable contact and the design of the contactor trip system. It also deals with calculation of heating of the current-carrying path on contactor and its following check by measuring.
Investigation of the durability of low voltage switching apparatuses construction parts
Dalecký, Jan ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with study of durability of low voltage switching devices components. It describes components of circuit breaker and low voltage contactor and contains function models of these devices in various states. Based on model analysis, components that can get worn, damaged or destroyed were selected. Further practical experiments on two samples of circuit breakers from different manufacturers were executed to verify their technical parameters and parts durability. Failure of some components can cause switching device to malfunction.
Software for evaluation of data from CVVOZE laboratory
Petráček, Dominik ; Šimek, David (referee) ; Pikula, Stanislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the innovation of partially user-unsuitable software which is used in the CVVOZE short-circuit laboratory for the evaluation of testing of switching and protection devices. The introductory part of the work presents a technical laboratory, which is used for research and development in the field of electrical devices with possibility of testing of short circuits and over-currents. At the first part of thesis, there is made a description of the technical laboratory. The following past is a chapter with basic introduction of tested devices and standard testing conditions of electrical devices in the laboratory. Then following a description of the original evaluation software is made and its shortcomings are pointed out. The practical part is devoted to the creating in LabVIEW, implementation and verification of the functionality of the new evaluation software.
Back-Commutation And Sticking Reduction Methods In Dc Contactor
Piska, Jakub
The back-commutation and sticking are phenomena which cause an increase in time delaybetween arc ignition and arc reaching the arc chute. These effects cause increase in total switchingtime and contact and arc runner wear. This paper gives a comparison of several approaches to reductionof these effects in a medium voltage contactor for traction usage. The three chosen approacheswere: changes of the shape of the arcrunners, changes of the pole plates of the magnetic circuit andincrease of the ventilation cross section. Metrics on how to compare the performance of these differentalterations were given, based on switching times. From the three tested methods the ventilationincrease yielded the best results as it both reduced the switching time and time delay caused by theback-commutation and reduced the variation of these characteristics.
